This month our nurse has been teaching our students about the importance of hand washing. Nurse Kim from the Puntnam County Health Department brought in fake germs to put on their hands, the students would wash their hands, then check them with a black light to be sure they are getting all the germs washed away.
Many of our classes joined in the Purdue Extensions program Apple Crunch today. Our students learned all about apples, and at the end of the lesson they got to crunch an apple.

Sheriff Elect Mr. Jerrod Baugh was a substitute teacher for our students. He was in three of our classrooms and had a ball. Our students loved him!
