🚌 Happy School Bus Driver Appreciation Day! 💙
Today, we celebrate the dedicated team of bus drivers at South Putnam Community School Corporation—the everyday heroes who ensure our Eagles get to and from school safely, with a smile.
From early mornings to all-weather driving, they go the extra mile—literally and figuratively—to support our students. Their patience, kindness, and professionalism set the tone for a positive school day and make them an essential part of our school family.
👏 Thank you, South Putnam bus drivers, for all you do! You represent the best of our school spirit, safety, and service.

Congratulations to Lane Price! He was selected to join the Keystone Cooperate SEED program. Only 20 candidates were chosen to participate in this two-year full-time apprenticeship program. Lane will receive full-time pay and benefits as he is trained in different components of their company including grain, agronomy, energy, swine & animal nutrition and corporation. This is an amazing opportunity for Lane and well deserved for a hard working, successful young man!

Our staff celebrated the beautiful weather on Monday and the fantastic new outdoor seating! Students will begin enjoying it too once the Indiana spring weather cooperates!

On Friday Deputy York spoke to Mr. Laney's class about the judicial system. The students had great questions and Deputy York was able to help them learn valuable information. Thank you to all our SROs for all they do for our students.

Water service was restored to Central Elementary late Friday afternoon after the earlier water main break.
A huge THANK YOU to the incredible admin teams, staff, and students at Central Elementary, the middle school, and the high school for working together and staying flexible throughout the day. We appreciate your teamwork and patience!
