principal

Greeting from Central Elementary,
It is hard to believe that we’re already into the
month of November and Thanksgiving Break is
only a few weeks away. Before the Break, we get to
celebrate Veterans’ Day and Grandparents’ Day.
One of the best events of the entire school year.
Please be sure to let us know if you have a family
member that you would like us to recognize during
our program on Friday, Nov. 11.
For our Veterans’ / Grandparents’ Day: As you
know, our traffic and parking lot is typically a very
busy place early in the morning. Therefore, we
highly encourage guests NOT to arrive until 8:45
or after. This will allow our high school faculty and
students enough time to get to their school on time
and make it easier for our guests to safety make it to
our program. Trust me, guests will have more than
enough time to visit their grandchild(s) classroom.
9:15 would be the best time to arrive. We have a
shuttle bus to take guest to and from their vehicles if
they park down be the high school. Thank you for
assisting us.
When guests arrive, we will send them to the main
gym where they can get a cup a coffee.
Grandparents can then make their way to their
grandchild’s classroom to visit any time after 8:45
am. At 10:05 am, we will make an announcement to
have those that want to stay for the Veterans’ Day
celebration to make their way to the gymnasium.
We’ll start that program at 10:15 am and conclude
by 10:45 am.
Sincerely yours,
Todd Gowen, Principal
