February is National Children’s Dental Health Month. This year the American Dental Association’s theme is “Sealants Make Sense”. Sealants are one way we can help protect children’s teeth from plaque and decay. We are going to have a contest for best ARMORED TOOTH. You can be as creative as you want to be, you can color the tooth or use other craft things to protect your tooth from the evil plaque. When you have completed your tooth, turn it into the office. There will be a winner from each grade level. All ARMORED TEETH need to be turned in by February 21st. The winner’s will be announced at the end of that week. I will be going around to each class this month to talk about dental hygiene and the importance of good dental health.
