South Putnam Community School corporation is located in south-central Putnam County.  The corporation covers an area of 163 square miles and is crossed by Interstate 70 and U.S. Highway 40 to the east and west, and U.S. Highway 231 to the north and south. South Putnam has approximately 1,150 students in Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade among three buildings including South Putnam Middle School/ High School, Central Elementary and Fillmore Elementary.  South Putnam is committed to equipping students for professional and personal success by guiding students to excellence according the Indiana State Standards and the five C's: communication, collaboration, creativity, critical thinking and character.

Fall Festival October 5
2019 Fall Festival
Leaves are changing and the air is getting crisp. Fall is just around the corner. Central's Fall Festival will be on Saturday, October 5th from 5pm to 8pm. It will be a night filled with family fun, games, themed basket auctions, and of course Pie in the Eye! This is the PTO's biggest fundraiser. We hope to see you there!

Shout out to our October Students of the Month! The first nine weeks is wrapping up and we are continuing to work hard with "can do" attitudes.
